The Surveyor will visit and evaluate your loss, calculate the estimated loss, and submit his report to insurance company; which insurance company will evaluate and eventually approve or repudiate.
The net payable calculated will be after deductions by the insurer. It will usually be lower than the value of the loss.
In reality, that net payable calculated may not be enough to make up for your loss.
